  • Design Technology Teacher, East London, Contract until December 2017

    iQ is working with a school in East London who is looking for a DT Teacher to start now until at least July 2017.

    This role will encompass teaching DT for 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days being available for general cover.

    Teaching RM, PD & Graphics classes at Key Stages 3 and 4, the successful teacher of Design Technology will have excellent experience gained in similar UK schools.  The successful candidate will be capable of demonstrating outstanding practice and be prepared to share their skill with all team members.

    There will be an expectation for the successful candidate to be inspirational to both staff and students by showing creative approaches to the delivery of the curriculum.  You will have a proactive teaching style and be inspirational in the planning and delivery of your lessons.  With exceptional classroom management skills you will be able to deliver engaging, dynamic and interesting lessons, be an strong communicator and have a track record of exceptional achievement, whether that is from previous positions or during training and qualification.

  • Head of Technology, East London, permanent
    September 2017 start

    iQ Education is looking for an experienced HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY for a permanent role.

    Rated "good" by Ofsted, our client in EAST LONDON has great facillities and an experienced and high achieving STL ensuring the very best environment for their teachers and students.

    We are looking for an experienced HEAD OF DEPARTMENT or an accomplished and ambitious teacher who is ready to step up to HoD.

    You will hold QTS or QTLS following your ITT and you will have taught to the UK National Curriculum in UK schools.  You will have managerial experience from running a successful Design Technology department or have been instrumental in helping to drive a DT faculty from being part of the team.

    iQ is working with a school in South West London who is looking for a Design Technology Teacher who can specialise in Product Design.

    The successful candidate will be an experienced classroom practitioner who is able to consistently demonstrate good lessons and is committed to raising attainment. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, have experience of raising attainment, have a genuine belief in the potential of every child, have high expectations for all pupils, have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude and will be a strong team player.
