  • Business Studies Teacher
    Start ASAP, long term supply contract, West London

    iQ is working with a good school in West London who is looking for a teacher of Business Studies to start AS SOON AS POSSIBLE on a supply contract until Easter 2018, possible extension to July.

    Teaching Business Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, the ability to teach A'level would be desirable although not essential
    You will be capable of delivering strong lessons which are well planned and executed effortlessly. Expectation within the school is of a very high standard to both pupils and staff and you will have excellent experience gained in similar UK schools. The successful candidate will be capable of demonstrating outstanding practice and be prepared to share their skill with all team members. There will be an expectation for the successful candidate to be inspirational to both staff and students by showing creative approaches to the delivery of the curriculum
    You will have a proactive teaching style and be inspirational in the planning and delivery of your lessons. With good classroom management skills you will be able to deliver engaging, dynamic and interesting lessons, be an exceptional communicator and have a track record of exceptional achievement, whether that is from previous positions or during training and qualification.

    You will hold QTS or QTLS and either a PGCE or an overseas teaching qualification recognised by NARIC.

  • Business Studies Teacher to BTEC

    iQ's client is looking for a teacher of Business Studies to cover long term illness. Starting as soon as possible, the role is estimated to last until at least Easter 2018.

    You will be an organised, enthusiastic and motivated person who is a good team player who can teach and interact with high achieving pupils.  You will have previous experience of teaching Business Studies at BTEC level from UK classrooms.

  • ECONOMICS AND MATHS TEACHER (part-time)
    North West London - Top independent school
    Permanent from January 2018


    iQ Education is recruiting an exceptional teacher of ECONOMICS AND MATHS for a part-time (0.50) permanent role from January 2018.  Teaching both disciplines will be required at (I)GCSE level.  There is the possibility for a full -time post for the right candidate who is able to offer an additional subject.

    Economics is offered in Year 11 for an intensive one year course with 6 lessons per week.  Maths is taught five lessons per week in all year groups.  Pupils are prepared for the Cambridge International Examinations IGCSE syllabus.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge and commitment to play a key role in developing and planning the curriculum.  As a dynamic qualified teacher you will have a strong academic background with a good honours degree in either Math's or Economics or a related subject and either a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

    You will have classroom experience gained in the UK and ideally from the independent sector.
    You will be expected to take part in the extra-curricular life of the school.
    The role will involve working with small class sizes, maximum 12 pupils per class. The aim is to help international pupil's develop their English whilst at the same time ensuring they have full access to the UK curriculum for GCSE and IGCSE.
    You will be teaching across the age range from year 9 to year 11.
    This role needs a confident teacher who is forward thinking and pro-active.
